A tragic example of how a child star could go bad, Dana Plato gained fame as Kimberly on Diff’rent Strokes. She starred in the show for about eight years. It was then that her history with drugs and alcohol begun and soon a pregnancy caused the studio to fire her from the series. She made appearances in movies made for TV and also did voice-over work.
