Catherine Coulson fue una actriz conocida por su papel en la serie de culto, Twin Peaks. Antes de esto, ya había trabajado con David Lynch en el cortometraje llamado The Amputee y de nuevo volvió a interpretar el papel de Margaret Lanterman en la adaptación cinematográfica de 2017 de la serie Twin Peaks. Después de conseguir el divorcio de su primer marido, se casó con un rabino estadounidense con el que tuvo una hija. Su muerte en 2015 fue consecuencia de un cáncer que no respondió al tratamiento. Es considerada como una de las actrices más candentes de su época.
