Es la hija de Nat King Cole y una excelente cantante de R&B. Natalie Cole se convirtió en un gran éxito en los 70, logrando numerosos éxitos. Una severa adicción a las drogas recetadas, también a la heroína y el crack casi la llevó a la ruina, incluyendo un arresto por posesión. Ella casi perdió a su hijo mientras estaba bajo influencia y él ahogándose en una piscina; también se negó a dejar un edificio en llamas mientras estaba bajo efectos de drogas.
