John Arthur Carradine, conocido artísticamente como David Carradine, encontró la fama y ganó su fortuna después de hacer tres temporadas de la serie de televisión Kung Fu y por su participación en la película Kill Bill. Sin embargo, aunque gozaba de una carrera exitosa, siempre tenía roces con la ley. Incluso, fue detenido varias veces por posesión de drogas. Lamentablemente, murió en el año 2009 a causa de una asfixia accidental, algunos rumores señalan que fue el resultado de una asfixia recreativa de alcoba.
