The “North by Northwest” House – Price Undisclosed
When it came to legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock, it was probably always a challenge to find a certain location where he would film his classic suspense movies. One of the places he had chosen where North by Northwest movie was filmed is an example. However, while the house might have an impressive mansion description to speak of, it couldn’t be found anywhere in reality as it was built on an elaborated set recreating Mt. Rushmore just for this enormous project! Rumor has it Hitchcock wanted to film in the real monument but was banned by the authorities due to the film’s heavy toned scenes.
