Chely Wright and Lauren Blitzer – Together Since 2010
Chely Wright, a Grammy-nominated country music singer, and Lauren Blitzer, a writer and LGBTQ+ activist, met in 2010. Chely, who had recently come out publicly, met Lauren through mutual friends. Their connection deepened quickly, and by August 2011, they were married by both a rabbi and a priest. Together, they have two sons, whom they welcomed via surrogacy.
Their relationship has been a source of inspiration to many, especially within the LGBTQ+ community. The couple has been vocal about their journey, supporting each other through challenges and triumphs. Chely’s memoir, “Like Me,” further explored their love story, highlighting their resilience and commitment to each other.
