Elton John and David Furnish – Together Since 1993
Elton John, the iconic British singer, songwriter, and pianist, is renowned for his music career that spans over five decades. David Furnish, a Canadian filmmaker and former advertising executive, made his name through his work in the film industry. The couple first met in 1993 at a dinner party, but it wasn’t until 2005 that they officially entered civil partnership.
And after gay marriage was legalized in 2014, they tied the knot. Elton and David share two sons, Zachary, born in 2010, and Elijah, born in 2013. Over the years, they have been vocal advocates for LGBTQ+ rights and founded the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
