Dann begann Barbi Benton eine Beziehung mit Hugh Hefner und änderte ihren Namen von Barbara Klein in Barbi Benton. Dann begann sie zu schauspielern und spielte regelmäßig in einer Comedy-Serie, Hee Haw, aber später suchte sie nach besseren Möglichkeiten. Barbi ging 1986 in den Ruhestand, nachdem sie George Gradow geheiratet hatte, um sich auf ihr Familienleben zu konzentrieren.
