Das ist aber nicht der einzige Grund, warum Carey nach einer Herzoperation und der Diagnose Typ-2-Diabetes die Kontrolle über seine Gesundheit übernahm, Junk Food auf eine gesunde, ausgewogene Ernährung umstellte und sechs Tage die Woche ins Fitnessstudio ging, bis er insgesamt 80 Pfund abnahm. Es hat sich alles ausgezahlt, denn am Ende zeigte er, dass er seine Diabetes-Medikamente nicht mehr brauchte.
