Damit Mikrozephalischer Pfeffer gut dargestellt werden kann, hat die Schauspielerin viel Prothesen, Make-up und gefälschte Zähne gemacht, und wir dürfen die großen Ohren nicht vergessen, die sie jeden Tag aufsetzen musste. Die Vorbereitungen dauern bis zu drei Stunden pro Tag, bevor Pepper filmbereit ist. Sie hätte nie gedacht, dass sie die Rolle wieder übernehmen würde, aber 2018 erschien sie in 2 Episoden der American Horror Story: Apokalypse.
