Rebecca Romijn – Von Kopf bis Fuß Silikon Skalen & Make-up
Rebecca Romijn musste jeden Tag acht Stunden bei der Visagistin und Bodypainterin sitzen, um sich in Mystique in X-Men zu verwandeln. Die Körperfarbe bestand aus Silikonschuppen, die von Kopf bis Fuß auf ihren Körper aufgetragen wurden. Das anstrengende Verfahren, dicke blaue Schichten auf die Haut aufzutragen, erforderte manchmal, dass die Crew gegen Mitternacht begann, um sich auf das Set gegen 8 oder 9 Uhr morgens vorzubereiten. Romijn spielte die Rolle der blau gefärbten formwandelnden Mutante, bevor Jennifer Lawrence die Rolle in den Fortsetzungen übernahm. Sie ließen sich beide schminken und prothetisch versorgen, als sie in ihren Geburtstagsanzügen waren.
