Robert Clary, agora com 92 anos, nasceu na França, onde teve uma infância muito dura. Crescendo em uma família judia, ele se tornou vítima de um campo de concentração nazista. Por sorte, Robert conseguiu sobreviver ao Holocausto. Nos anos seguintes a essa tragédia, Robert tornou-se extremamente popular como ator na França e nos Estados Unidos. Ele é provavelmente mais conhecido por seu papel como o cabo Louis LeBeau na série de TV Hogan’s Heroes. Tendo sobrevivido a um começo trágico na vida, ele foi capaz de construir um bom patrimônio de US$ 20 milhões, que ele pudesse relaxar e aproveitar em sua aposentadoria.
