A musa iniciou sua carreira como modelo, estrelando grandes campanhas para marcas como a Calvin Klein, mas seu sonho mesmo era se tornar atriz e foi exatamente isso que ela fez. Sua estreia nas telinhas aconteceu em 1989 em um episódio da novela Top Model.
