Matt Damon – $16.746 Million – Brooklyn Heights
Last year, Matt Damon has broken a record for purchasing the most expensive property ever bought in Brooklyn. The Martian actor has purchased the premium multi-level penthouse which used to be a hotel in 1903. The building itself looks very much frozen in time and exudes a sophisticated old-age allure of an ancient structure. It teams elegant details such as Austrian white oak flooring, Bertazzoni Italia and Bosh appliances and rain showers, according to Architectural Digest. Fun fact: the building was mentioned in one of the Superman’s comic books as Clark Kent’s residence. Owning a building where Superman “lived” has got to be the best thing to tell about yourself.
