Hugh Downs – 98
For many decades, Hugh Downs had been the face of ABC’s 20/20 news broadcast, and his career as an actor has been enduring and very fruitful. Downs has also been the author of many books and he picked up some acting credits along the way. He most notably appeared in the 1964 film A Global Affair and as himself in the 2001 movie, Someone Like You. In 2007, Downs became amongst the first American TV Game Show Hall of Fame inductees. He lost his wife Ruth ShaheenDowns in 2017 when she was 95 years old.
