Conrad Janis – 91
Conrad Janis had parents who were both writers, so engaging into something artistic was an easy decision for him. As a young actor, he starred in The Brasher Doubloon, The Golden Girls, and his biggest hit yet, Mork & Mindy. Janis’ biggest passion though was jazz music, and he played the trombone. He collaborated on numerous occasions with acclaimed jazz musicians, and he wanted to keep classic jazz music alive, founding his own The Beverly Hills Unlisted Jazz Band in the late ’70s, performing sold-out shows numerous times at the Carnegie Hall.
