Imagine being a child star back in the ’30s; while most people still faced bankruptcy due to the Great Depression, Ted Donaldson became a very accomplished child actor, with his most acclaimed roles being on A Christmas Carol, Once Upon A Time, and Father Knows Best. While he had the potential to make it even bigger, in 1952 he left the industry at just 19 years old. Perhaps he felt like he had saved enough bucks to live a normal life, without the trials and tribulations of living in the spotlight.
