His captivating and serious look was critical in the TV show’s dark theme, while he then tried to refinance himself by playing Edward Montgomery on Dharma & Greg. Ryan’s acting credits also include an appearance in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, NYPD Blue, Renegade, and The Golden Girls.
