Did you know that Robert Matthew Van Winkle AKA Vanilla Ice wrote the song Ice Ice Baby, his biggest hit to this day when he was 16? We bet you were just as surprised as we were. Vanilla became interested in hip-hop, breakdance, and poetry when he was very young. But before he found fame, he used to be a street performer with his friends at shopping malls. His debut album Hooked was released in 1989 and the reformatted version of it was released the following year. Ice competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2016 and his work nowadays is a lot less mainstream. For some years, Vanilla left the music world to get into another passion of his and worked as a contractor, fixing up houses and selling them for a profit!
