189 Famous People Who Died & You Had No Idea
28. Antoine Ashley – HEART FAILURE
Drag Queen Antoine Ashley, who was more popularly known as Sahara Davenport, had a very established career. She also released two songs, which generally received positive reviews. Davenport gained popularity after appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race’s second season. During the second season of the show, she impressed everyone with her dancing abilities. She had been classically trained and incorporated this into her performance. Shockingly and sadly, when she was only 27, she had a heart failure and later died in a hospital in October 2012. She’s the only contestant to have died so far.
