34. Gina Mastrogiacomo – MYOCARDITIS
Gina Mastrogiacomo auditioned three times for The Sopranos and almost appeared alongside Tom Cruise on The Color Of Money. However, they went with someone else for the HBO show and they did not cast her in The Color of Money due to her inexperience. Thankfully, famous director Martin Scorsese has an eye for talent for he is known to be the one who discovered her. Gina starred in Scorsese’s films and other movies such as Goodfellas, and Jungle Fever. Tragically, she was later diagnosed with a rare type of heart infection called myocarditis that eventually claimed her life in May 2001.
