Rob Lowe – St. Elmo’s Fire, born in 1964
It’s not surprising to find yet another member of the ’80s Brat Pack in this list as the group was the some of the hottest stars of the decade. Lowe proved he had the acting chops after nabbing a Golden Globe nomination for Thursday’s Child in 1983. He went on to star in The Outsiders and St. Elmo’s Fire, among others. He earned a second Golden Globe nod with Square Dance. Although his star somewhat waned in the ’90s, he had a career renaissance in the ’00s with the TV series The West Wing. He appeared in other TV shows and later dabbled in executive production on legal drama The Grinder. To date, the 52-year-old has had 6 Golden Globe nods and continues to work in film in TV.
