178. Howard Marks – HEART ATTACK
Howard Marks was a celebrity drug dealer who earned millions from smuggling during the ’70s through the ’80s. Organizations as big as the CIA and the Mi6 were after him. In 1990, his defense attorneys couldn’t keep him away from being behind bars. Following his release from prison, he released his autobiography titled Mr. Nice. This book was adapted into a film in 2010 with Rhys Ifans playing Marks. He also became a huge advocate for the legalization of cannabis, involving himself into politics to do so. He passed away in 2016 but was diagnosed with cancer a year before to that.
