Ralph Macchio – The Karate Kid, geboren 1961
Ralph Macchios Portfolio deutet darauf hin, dass er vor seiner ersten Filmrolle in The Karate Kid als Kinderdarsteller in der Werbung gearbeitet hat. Als Kind spielte er auch mit einigen der größten Stars der Gegenwart, zum Beispiel mit Tom Cruise und Matt Dillon in The Outsiders. Aber trotzdem blieb er am Bekanntesten für seine Rolle in der Filmreihe The Karate Kid aus dem Jahr 1984. Noch heute tritt der 57-jährige Schauspieler gelegentlich in Fernsehsendungen auf. Er hatte einige Gastauftritte mit How I Met Your Mother, Ugly Betty und Dancing with the Stars.
