Heath Ledger fue un actor de cine y televisión de origen australiano. También se dedicó a producir y dirigir videos musicales. Su carrera tuvo un gran crecimiento y fue nominado a varios premios, pero lo que lo llevó a la fama fue su interpretación del Joker en The Dark Knight, fue una actuación tan buena que ganó un Óscar, un Globo de Oro, un BAFTA y un premio SAG como actor de reparto. Sin embargo, el papel le salió caro; este actor estaba luchando contra el insomnio y la ansiedad y murió en enero del 2008 por una sobredosis de medicamentos recetados. Hasta el momento es el único actor en ganar varios títulos póstumos.
