Frank Finlay fue un actor que tuvo una carrera muy exitosa, la cual duró alrededor de 50 años. Ganó popularidad tras darle vida al personaje de Yago en la película Othelo en 1965, incluso fue nominado a un Óscar gracias a esa interpretación. Luego, hizo diversas apariciones en la televisión como en Casanova y en el cine en películas populares como El pianista y Los tres mosqueteros.
