El actor canadiense Les Lye, nacido en Canada en 1927, fue muy popular por su estupenda actuación en la serie de televisión de éxito You can’t do that on televisión, un programa transmitido por Nickelodeon, el cual duró 10 temporadas al aire. Incluso fue un personaje importante en un documental que le dedicaron a la serie filmado en el año 2004. Tuvo una carrera en radio y TV que duró más de cinco décadas. Murió en 2009 a la edad de 85 años; aunque en el año 2002 ya había tenido varios ataques al corazón.
