Priscilla Pointer has been a recognizable figure on TV and in films, but she first got to a taste of acting as a stage actress, also appearing on some Broadway plays. She then went on to take a shot at movies and TV shows, and she was rewarded with some good paychecks for that. She had a recurring role on Dallas with guest appearances on other shows like L.A Law. Judging Amy, and Cold Case. You might not know it, but the 96-year-old actress is actress Amy Irving’s mother and the former mother-in-law of filmmaker Steven Spielberg.
