113. Piers Sellers – PANCREATIC CANCER
Dr. Pierce Sellers was known for doing work as a climate scientist from East Sussex. He later moved to the U.S. and worked for N.A.S.A. because it had always been his dream to become an astronaut. He got to accomplish his dream and he participated in three space shuttle missions. His work in the office was related to creating models to examine the effects of climate change on Earth. Even if he got medical treatment for cancer, he still wasn’t able to win the battle and he later passed away.
