Michelle Trachtenberg – Gave Education More Priority
Michelle Trachtenberg grew up in Brooklyn and started acting when she was only three years old. First, she mainly appeared on commercials and from the age of 10 she made regular television appearances.While she was really known for her recurring role in The Adventures of Pete & Pete and Harriet the Spy, it was her role as Buffy’s sister on the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer that brought her international fame. It was actually thanks to Sarah Michelle Gellar that she got the role as Dawn. They knew each other from filming together on the long-running show All My Children in the 1990s.
Besides acting she also graduated with a degree in Social Studies and Religion for which she received a scholarship from the California Scholarship Federation.
Trachtenberg collects Barbies and her hobbies include writing poems, ice skating and swimming. As a child she took ballet classes. She volunteered for the Clinton campaign for a Drug Free America. Today, she is also known for her role as Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl.
