Wow, this child star had a lot of luck. He was discovered on a playground in New York City when he was only three years old. After his discovery he quickly became a go-to child actor in the new millennium after starring in commercials for fast food franchise McDonald’s and later joining the cast of ABC’s Soul Man.

He landed his first major role along Bruce Willis in Disney’s The Kid. The movie was a huge success and so he ended up with more lead roles in The Cat in the Hat, The Santa Clause 2 and Raising Helen. The latter movie  also featured his younger sister Abigail. This guy just became one of favorites child stars in no time.

With his major appearance in the 2008 film The Happening he appeared the last time in front of the camera. He decided that he wants to focus more on producing and writing rather than acting by himself. This is why, he is pretty busy these days as executive producer. Furthermore, he also released his first studio album in 2012 called Labor Day. And not to forgot, he is busy with being his little sister’s biggest fan.
