Alte Gewohnheiten verschwinden nur langsam
Es war eine große Herausforderung für Lexi, ihre alten, ungesunden Gewohnheiten abzulegen. Schon seit ihrer Kindheit war sie an fettiges und ungesundes Essen gewöhnt. Lexi erzählte, dass ihre Familie sich schlichtweg keine gesunden Lebensmittel leisten konnte. Fertiggerichte waren die günstigere Alternative, also gab es das bei ihnen zu Hause. Aber zu welchem Preis?
Auch Danny hatte immer ungesund gegessen. Diese Gewohnheit setzten sie als Paar fort und schenkten ihrer Ernährung kaum Beachtung. Beide liebten es auswärts zu essen, aber auch zu Hause aßen sie ständig. Ihre liebsten Freizeitaktivitäten waren Essen und Fernsehen. Insbesondere für Lexi war das Essen auch ein Mechanismus zur Stressbewältigung.
