Mit „Ab ins Beet“ hat Claus Scholz nicht nur gezeigt, wie gut er dabei ist Gärten umzumodeln und neu zu gestalten, sondern hat sich mit der Sendung auch unglaublich großer Beliebtheit erfreut. In kürzester Zeit wurde er zu einem Publikumsliebling und konnte sich seither auch in anderen Promi-Sendungen wiederfinden. So durften wir in bereits bei „Die Superchefs“ willkommen heißen, und auch in „Das Perfekte Promi-Dinner“ haben wir ihn bestaunen können. Seine Sporttrikots, welche er meistens bei seinen Fernsehauftritten trägt, sind schon längst zum Teil seiner Persona geworden. So soll er eine Sammlung von über 60 Sport-Shirt im Schrank hängen haben. Trotz seiner Beliebtheit im Fernsehen ist sein tatsächliches Vermögen noch immer unbekannt.
