Amish Kids Know How to Play Without Toys
Amish kids aren’t exactly living it up with the latest tech gadgets or toy-store hauls, but that doesn’t mean they’re bored. These little ones are experts at creative play with simple, often handmade, and eco-friendly toys. Wooden toys like dolls, wagons, and even little rocking horses are favorites.
They also get into nature-based games, like hide-and-seek and tag—good old-fashioned fun that doesn’t require a screen or a battery. There were no endless trips to the toy store, just good old imagination and a few wooden blocks. Maybe it’s time to embrace the Amish approach and save some cash by ditching the latest toy craze!
