50. Garry Marshall – PNEUMONIA
Marshall was a director genius behind the cult comedy Princess Diaries, as well as many other projects. He started his career as a comedy writer and one of his first jobs was writing for The Tonight Show. He directed iconic films such as Pretty Woman, Valentine’s Day and he was the creator of the iconic Happy Days. His family was shocked when he lost the fight against pneumonia, which he caught right after cardiac arrest. He was known for his charitable donations, and he left a substantial fund held in trust as well.
