Der deutsche Rechtsanwalt Edmund Stoiber kann auf eine lange und erfolgreiche Karriere in der Politik zurückblicken, in der er viele verschiedene wichtige Ämter übernommen hat, darunter als Ministerpräsident von Bayern, Vorsitzender der CSU oder als Präsident des Bundesrats. Auch als Kanzlerkandidat trat er zur Wahl an. Heute ist er schon über 80 Jahre alt und hat sich nun aus dem öffentlichen Leben zurückgezogen. Er lebt mit seiner langjährigen Ehefrau Karin, mit der er seit über 50 Jahren verheiratet ist und 3 erwachsene Kinder hat, sowie heute auch mehrere Enkelkinder, in Wolfratshausen.
