How to Get Away with Murder further confirmed Viola Davis’ exemplary skills as an actress. Davis also boasts of being the first black entertainer with a Tony, Oscar, and Emmy to her name. The winning streak translates to her 16-year marriage to Julius Tennon.
They had their nuptials in 2003, and in 2011, they welcomed their daughter, Genesis, who they had adopted. While celebrating their 15th year of marriage in 2018, Davis shared a photo of their family with the caption explaining that she met Tennon when she was still skeptical about love. However, since then, her cynicism has gone away.
