Maruschka Detmers droomde als kind al van het schitteren op het witte doek, een verlangen zo omvangrijk als haar jonge fantasie. Ondanks dat ze werd geprezen voor haar acteervaardigheden, bleef een rol in een blockbuster buiten haar bereik.
