David Strickland – SUICIDIO
La triste muerte de David Strickland en 1999 hizo que el personaje Todd Stities, su alter ego en Suddenly Susan, fuera eliminado de la comedia, en un capítulo de homenaje que fuera emitido regularmente junto con la serie, en el cual se honraba tanto al personaje como, al hombre que lo interpretó. Sin embargo, no se hizo mención alguna al suicidio de Strickland durante el episodio, lo que es algo bastante comprensible, y que posiblemente contribuyó a que su muerte pasara desapercibida hasta el día de hoy. Se dice que pasó tres días dentro de un club de bailarinas en Las Vegas antes de quitarse la vida a los 30 años.
