Surprisingly, the actor’s name was initially David William Smith, but he decided to change it to David James Elliot after realizing someone else shared the same name. This major update seems to have paid off, considering how many roles the actor ended up booking. In addition, the man is married to Nanci Chambers, having clocked over two decades together with two kids to boot.
