Bärbel Schäfer & Michel Friedman, 16 years
Unfortunately, the German presenter Bärbel Schäfer had to go through a particularly serious misfortune in her life 20 years ago, because her ex-husband died in a car accident and left her behind as a widow. A few years passed and she met Michael Friedmann, the well-known lawyer, philosopher and moderator, and fell in love with him. In 2004 the two finally got married in Manhattan and Bärbel switched to Judaism for their love. When they got married, they even used the Jewish custom as a template. You don’t often see the two of them together on TV shows, but they’re always together in public. They have settled in Frankfurt, but you can also meet them in Cannes or Paris.
