Als klischeehafte Blondine machte Janine Kunze bereits in den 90ern auf sich aufmerksam. So fasste sie mit „Hausmeister Krause – Ordnung muss sein“ Fuß in der Filmindustrie und konnte sich schon bald mit „Die Comedyfalle“ einen Namen machen. Ihren Mann Dirk lernte sie als Gastronom ihrer Produktionsfirma kennen. Die beiden verliebten sich und heirateten in einer buddhistischen Zeremonie. Dafür sind sie sogar einmal um die Welt gereist und haben sich in Thailand das Ja-Wort gegeben. Die beiden scheinen auch nach 2 Jahrzehnten noch ein super Team zu sein, denn sie haben auch 3 Kinder gemeinsam großgezogen. Tochter Lilly steht sogar bereits mit ihrer Mutter vor den Kameras.
