In Anbetracht seiner langfristigen Bindung an den Club erwarb Boateng 2016 ein prächtiges Anwesen in Grünwald, einem wohlhabenden Viertel in der Nähe von München, zum Preis von 7,4 Millionen Euro.
Seine luxuriöse Residenz, die mit allen erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet ist, hat natürlich auch einen eigenen Pool. Grünwald ist bekannt dafür, dass hier Münchens Elite residiert.
