Ein missverständliches Treffen mit 50 Cent
Erin Andrews, bekannte Sideline-Reporterin bei NFL-Spielen, hat sich seit ihrem Einstieg bei Fox im Jahr 2012 einen Namen als vielseitige Journalistin gemacht; 2013, während der Daytona 500 – dem „Great American Race“ – befand sie sich jedoch in einer ziemlich unangenehmen Situation, als sie versuchte, Danica Patrick zu interviewen.
Doch anstatt Patrick traf sie unerwartet auf Rapper 50 Cent. Der hatte offensichtlich die Absicht, sie zu umarmen, was Erin völlig aus dem Konzept brachte. Die Situation endete in einer peinlichen Geste, die in einem weit verbreiteten Foto festgehalten wurde. Es wurde spekuliert, Erin habe den Versuch des Rappers, sie zu küssen, abgelehnt.
