Jimmy Perry was famous for his work as an actor and a scriptwriter. He was known for his involvement with shows like It Ain’t Half Hot Mum, Hi-de-Hi, and Dad’s Army. His work wasn’t limited to scriptwriting only as he also had a talent for music. In fact, he created the theme for Dad’s Army, titled Who Do You Think You’re Kidding, Mr. Hitler? This earned him the Ivor Novello Award.He was already 93 years old when he passed away due to a short illness. Reportedly, he had left a total of £226K in his last will and testament.
